A lot of people didn't like the Pinkie-in-a-Mental institution arc that I was doing. So I'm bringing Pinkie back a little earlier than I had planned. The next few pages might seem a little disjointed as I've had to cut about half a dozen pages out, which are now going to be put later on in the comic with Octavia as the main character, rather than Pinkie/

If the last half of this page seems a little familiar, lets just say that I'm revisiting a well know episode form a different perspective. If you don't recognize the story by frame 6 - then shame on you.

Sometimes, if a child experiences something traumatic, they suppress the memory, and create a false memory to cover it up.

Could this be what Pinkie really saw that day?

I'm running with the idea that the Sonic Rainboom really did happen. Pinkie may have seen it, she may not. But it was a separate event to Pinkie's flashback in the Cutie Mark Chronicles. In Pinkie's mind the two events are the same, but in reality they happened at different times. She is using one to suppress the other.
