So ... Trump's gonna be president.
He wasn't exactly my first choice, but I can't say that I'm surprised, and I'm not gonna lose any sleep over it. I'd have preferred one of the other guys, but they didn't make it through the primaries.
I guess when you live this far out the President of the United States is just some politician whose too distant to really have much effect. It's the local politicians that have the most effect on your life.
Neither Trump nor Clinton has offered Federal resources to help find out whose cutting up cattle at night, and their infrastructure policies don't stretch to rural areas.

How I made it (Mining at Night
I was going through some of my old pictures and I came across a couple from when I was making Mining at Night Mining at Night. I originally took them for my Haytreon subscribers, but it's been a couple of years since I made the original model, so it's probably OK to post them up here for free. Anywho. Like most of my Diorama, this one started out as a block of blue HD crafting foam. I used a resin cast of one of my existing models to gauge the size for the base and then cut it out with a hot wire. This one was a book nook so there wasn't much room for maneuver but I needed something to help me visualize how much space I had for the details of the diorama. Normally I only make my behind the scenes content available to Haytreon members, but since I've not been uploading much lately I thought that I'd give everyone a sneak peek at how I went about making my latest model. Here are the bird houses from Griffonstone from first principles to complete. They're mostly just coffee stirrers stuck to card stock with some filament form a 3D pen to make the roofs. The paint is just regular modeling contrast paint.
