I'm going back to basics for this one. Stick-Men: the purest form of comic expression.

This was inspired by a thread on EQD about what makes somebody part of a particular "fandom", and whether you get to choose if you're a part of it or not.

Oh, and by Star Trek.

Anyway...

Drawn in Inkscape and compiled in Photoshop.

Everything her is scratch drawn, except for the logo at the top of the page which is adapted from the logo crated by Flutterbr0 9[link]).

The Font on the logo comes from this webpage ([link]). It's the first link. Sorry, I don't know the name of the artist.

I know that it's not very easy to see in the low-def upload, but the green things are meant to be tentacles stabbing into the hater and transforming them. Not some kind of weird green energy.

I guess that I've been watching too much Hentai, again. Haven't I?

All rights to Hasbro and other holders. Included here under Fair Use (Parody).

Stick figures are best figures. Great for getting people to understand how important wording and posing is so they don't become completely dependant on facial expressions to convey feeling.

... Also I really love violence XD GO STICK FIGURES GO!

I What about sex?

I once wrote an entirely nude version of Hamlet using nothing but stick figures.

Strangely, nobody quite got the "nude" part.

You will join the Borgys. There is no choice. Resistance is futile.

Heh!

BTW, the Borg are my favourite Star Trek villains. :)

Personally, I count the Federation as villains, too. If there was a villain that I could really come to hate, it would be them.

Since the latter part of TNG and DS9 (Including the movies), they seem to have become a metaphor for Western imperialism. They have all of these high minded ideals, and they try to force them onto other species, while denying that they are.

As Eddington said in DS9 "You know, in some ways you're even worse than the Borg. At least they tell you about their plans for assimilation."

At least the Federation still instills a certain sense of democracy and freedom of choice while the Borg, and other empires like the Klingons and the Romulans, don't give you that choice.
