Before anybody cries foul, Twilight is still Twilight. She hasn't changed into a different pony and her lift is still the same life that she's always had so it stands to reason that if she gets a "new" Cutie Mark it will be shaped by most of the same things that shaped her old one. In this case the thing that triggered it was friendship rather than magic. So her "new" Cutie Mark represents "The Magic of Friendship" in the same way that her old one represented magic as a thing in itself.

I think that Pinkie's reaction also says a lot. MLP isn't really a series know for it's dramatic plot twists. Aside from a few episodes in season 1 and 2 (With Best Night Ever being the most obvious) most of what happens in MLP is pretty formulaic. It's a children's cartoon aimed at 7-11 year old American girls, not some left field anime aimed at teenagers. So in keeping with this I've picked what was probably the most obvious Cutie Mark for Twilight gained in the most obvious way.

If you didn't guess long ago that the answer was "Friendship" then ... well ... I really don't know what to say about that.

Just to be clear, this is an evolution of her old Cutie Mark. It represents everything that her old one represented, and more. The old one was "just magic" but the new one is "The Magic of Friendship". So it's better.
